Welcome to our Winter Wonderland!

Galena is never more beautiful than when it is covered with snow! The white rolling landscape is like something out of a romantic novel. Skiing is close by and we are four blocks from some of the best dining you will ever experience.

We are currently working on our little hallway that is loaded with DVD's for your pleasure. We have uncovered one of the original arched entrances to the mansion and it is beautiful. Bring warm clothes, a good book and your skiis.

Spring Is Finally Here

Wow - we made it! It's finally Spring and things are turning green all over the place. It's been a busy winter here with various "Inn" projects like painting, rearranging and decorating and the Inn has never been so beautiful.

The fireplace rooms have been redecorated and they turned out better than we could have imagined. We hung on to that old antique wallpaper long enough and by popular demand we decided to paint the rooms - they are stunning!

We've also put a whole new set of fluffy beautiful pillows out on the decks. A bit of paradise right outside the door!

Come and enjoy a relaxing stay with us this Spring and enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine on the porch swing!

Winter Specials

Welcome Everyone to 2008! Happy New Year!

Well the holidays are finally over and it's time to settle in to the rest of the winter months. We have been very busy around here at the Stillman Inn. Many tavelers braving the storms just to stay with us - how wonderful!

But...now things have slowed down as they always do in January. So we are offering our blogger guests up to 20% off your winter stay (Now through February). Summer Fun 2007

You can't believe how beautiful the Inn looks this summer. Fresh coat of paint, beautiful gardens, new patio cushions, exterior lighting, new breakfast items! It's all a bit much but we are having a great time here at the Inn!

The State has just painted the historic home right next to us and it looks fabulous. We've enjoyed the two civil war encampments we've had in Galena and Grant's Park is more beautiful than ever with all the fresh plantings and freshly painted fountain and Gazebo. We also have some new stores downtown including a couple of new antique shops.
