Merry Christmas and Happy 2011

This has been a great year for meeting even more new people! We have thoroughly enjoyed being innkeepers and look forward to new relationships. We especially love our return guests! Always good to see a familiar face.

**Tuck Pointing Special**

What a wonderful fall we are having...except the past two days have been very windy! Which may take care of the last of the colored leaves. But our pumpkins are out and the marigolds are still blooming. Marigolds, who would of thought they were such a great flower garden plant. They are under rated indeed!

Fall in Love at Bernadine's Stillman Inn.....

Fall is one of the most beautiful times in Galena and we are just waiting for the leaves to change and for things to cool down! Perfect time to fall in love with that significant other all over again! Or come by yourself and fall in love with Fall and Galena.

It was a busy summer here at the Stillman Inn. With all the heavy rains we had to re-design some of our garden walls. Sorry to guests who had to witness this mess! But the gardens are back up and running. Can't wait to see how the new plantings look next summer! We're shooting for bigger and better.

Holidays - just around the corner. The only thing better than Fall in Galena is winter. To see the hills covered in white is just breathtaking. The downtown sparkles with excitement when it is draped in snow. Don't worry about driving, they keep Route 20 nice and clean! Don't forget to plan for the Spring Daffodil festival. Lats year, the first year, was one weekend oo late as most of the daffodils were already spent. But the City keeps adding more and more daffodils and the event will keep growing and turn into a real car stopper!
